Awards & Accreditations
The primary considerations for choosing a web design firm are:
- Price
- Customer service/access to support
- Credibility indicators
- Portfolio and design experience
- Other services offered (domain renewal, hosting, SEO)
- Turnaround time
Below, we have given you an indication of how Tingleweb approaches each of these areas.
Price
The price of your website will depend on three factors: its features, the amount of content and the service options included with the design package, such as hosting.
Frequently Asked Questions about price
- Does the Tingleweb quote state one all-inclusive price for the entire project?
Before Tingleweb begins work on your website, we provide a complete project cost, which includes development, design, maintenance and hosting. Since we do not want to spring any nasty surprises on you further down the line, we cost for everything, thereby giving you peace of mind. We will only proceed when you are happy with the quote given.
- Is there a recurring monthly fee for hosting?
If you choose to have your website hosted with Tingleweb, we charge from as little as £10 per month. As above, this will be clarified at the outset.
- Is the site custom-built, or is it customisation of an existing template?
To reflect our clients’ differing professions, ideas and needs - and to make you stand out from your competitors - all our websites are custom-built from scratch. Of course, if you have a design in mind which you would like us to use, we can easily accommodate this.
- Is there a separate fee for content development, such as writing sales copy?
You can either write and submit your own copy, or use one of our recommended copywriters who offer a range of different services and provide a fixed quote based on your requirements.
Whilst the choice is ultimately yours, we would recommend that unless you have a particularly strong grasp of the English language, this is an option you should consider. The benefits of a good first impression are well recognised, and in developing a website that aims to increase your presence and sales, it is vital the copy does not compromise its and your chances of success.
So whether you want your copy to be written in its entirety, or simply for what you have already written to be looked over and tweaked, just ask us to provide a quote.
- Is domain registration/management included in the package?
If you don’t already have a domain, we can register and host your website address for you. If this is something you want us to do, we will include it in the project cost.
- Will Tingleweb provide multiple design concepts, prior to actual development?
Since our aim is to make sure you are happy at all stages of your site's development, we will provide multiple designs until you - the client - give us the proverbial nod to proceed.
Customer Service
We believe that open, two-way communication is vital to the success of your website, so much so that we can be contacted 24/7 by telephone, e-mail, SMS, MSN Messenger™ and Skype™. Therefore, your suggestions, ideas or comments can be instantly relayed to us.
Credibility Indicators
Key credibility indicators offered by Tingleweb include:
- 24 hour customer service
- Human e-mail address contacts
All emails come through to individual people, and in the event they are out of the office, messages can still be picked up and responded to using wireless technology. - Presentation of a hard-copy quote/design contract
On receipt of an initial enquiry, we will look to arrange a meeting with you. This is something we think is very important, as it gives us a chance to get to know you, your company and your ideas, whilst just as importantly, it lets you get a feel for us.
We will then send you an all inclusive quote based on what we have discussed, and if you wish, further meetings can be arranged at key stages of the project development.
Design Experience/Portfolio
Tingleweb has been designing websites for a diverse range of companies and industries for almost 9 years, and as such, we have a good idea of what works and what doesn’t. It may be that we have already built a website relating to your industry, but if we haven’t, a fresh and objective point of view can often be more valuable than prior experience. Either way, we will always aim to develop a website that is affordable and reaches the maximum number of prospective customers in your target market.
Frequently Asked Questions about design
- Does Tingleweb offer a number of diverse, finished web sites available for review?

That’s why we offer a whole range of services that include accessible website development, graphic design, domain registration, hosting, email, search engine optimisation and maintenance. Turnaround Time
Unless you intend to offer hundreds of individual products or services, an effective website should take somewhere between 10 and 30 days from the start of production to go live. Turnaround time includes:
- Upload of your web site to the hosting provider
- Configuration of any scripts or forms on your site
- Domain propagation (accessing your web site and e-mail via yoursite.com)
